Paul DIAMOND - Wood Turner

Wood stirs something in us - the look, the colour, the feel. It has a calming effect, awes us with its variations, and makes us wonder at nature's creations. It is a gift that never should be abused or wasted. These are the emotions that Paul experiences every day, both living in a beautiful forest and working with wood. There is an incredible flow of vertical and horizontal in wood, which influences the lines of his vases. It's a balance of gravity (the horizontal) and reaching for the light (the vertical).
